Job summary

This position involves conducting research on the health impacts of microbial foods through pre-clinical studies, specifically using murine models to assess nutritional and metabolic effects. The role is part of a mission-oriented research program focused on designing AI-powered frameworks for microbial foods.

Qualifications

• Two-year Master’s degree in animal nutrition, host-microbe metabolism, gut biology, or a related field.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Fluency in spoken and written English; familiarity with IT and AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute murine feeding studies comparing various food matrices.
• Measure host endpoints such as protein digestibility, microbiome composition, and metabolic markers.
• Coordinate protocol design and sample handoffs among collaborators.
• Contribute to data interpretation and the design of subsequent human clinical trials.

Skills

• Hands-on experience with rodent husbandry.
• Familiarity with microbiome sequencing and analysis techniques.
• Exposure to metabolic phenotyping methods.
