Qualifications

  • MSc degree in optics/photonics or optical engineering.
  • Background in nonlinear photonics and ultrafast lasers.
  • Experimental experience with fiber lasers, particularly gas-filled hollow-core fiber lasers.
  • Ability to work independently and creatively on research projects.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research in ultrafast nonlinear optics using gas-filled hollow-core fiber platforms.
  • Develop advanced laser sources and fiber systems for fundamental studies and applications.
  • Maintain an organized and safe work environment.

Education

  • A two-year master's degree (120 ECTS points) or equivalent academic level is required.
