OT Security Architect (Energy, Hybrid)

Job summary

This role involves leading the development of operational technology (OT) security architecture, ensuring robust and compliant solutions across various projects and operational assets. The position requires acting as a Technical Authority, guiding engineering teams, and establishing security standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in OT cybersecurity and security architecture, preferably in energy or industrial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of IEC 62443 and related standards (ISO 27001, ISO 27019, NIS2).
• Proven ability to balance risk and operational constraints in architectural decisions.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain OT security architecture baselines and standards.
• Guide engineering teams on secure design and implementation practices.
• Own key OT security workflows such as access management and incident response.
• Lead design reviews and risk assessments for OT security architectures.

Skills

• Strong communication skills to convey complex security concepts.
• Experience in mentoring and building organizational capability.
• Ability to influence teams and drive standardization across projects.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in cybersecurity or related fields.

Tools

• Familiarity with security engineering tools and methodologies relevant to OT environments.
