Operations Manager (Supply Chain, Copenhagen)

Job summary

This role involves overseeing supply chain operations with a focus on demand forecasting, supply planning, and inventory management within a growing European pharmaceutical business. The position requires a hands-on approach to ensure effective execution and ownership of supply and demand processes.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Experience in supply/demand planning, inventory management, or operations analytics.
• Solid understanding of purchasing, supplier follow-up, and stock availability.
• Background in supply chain, operations, logistics, or purchasing within the pharmaceutical or regulated product sectors.
• Familiarity with GDP/GxP-regulated supply flows and associated quality constraints.
• Proficient in ERP, BI, or operational reporting tools, with strong Excel capabilities.
• Ability to work with imperfect data and create structured decision-making processes.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder alignment.

Responsibilities

• Own demand forecasting and supply planning across products and European markets.
• Translate commercial inputs into supply scenarios and planning assumptions.
• Develop scalable analysis and decision-support tools using automation and BI solutions.
• Enhance data quality and planning discipline across various data sources.
• Manage the supplier-side purchase order flow, including confirmations and delivery timings.
• Maintain visibility on stock availability and manage overstock risks.
• Coordinate with logistics and warehouse partners for operational execution.
• Support stock reconciliation and inventory control as needed.
