Operation Controller (Renewable Energy, Offshore, Denmark)

Job summary

This role involves overseeing the safe electrical operations at an offshore wind farm, ensuring compliance with safety standards and effective management of high voltage systems. The position requires collaboration with various teams during both operational and construction phases.

Qualifications

• Strong awareness of health, safety, environmental, and quality standards, particularly BEK 1608 and EN 50110.
• Vocational training in electrical engineering, SCADA engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience in control room operations, electrical operations, or high voltage asset management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to the Zero Incident Policy and safety regulations.
• Monitor and supervise substations and high voltage systems from the control room.
• Plan and execute switching operations on high and low voltage systems.
• Operate SCADA systems for monitoring alarms and system status.
• Support troubleshooting and maintenance of wind turbines and substations.
• Maintain operational logs and documentation.
• Coordinate marine operations and manage handovers to the Central Control Room.
• Participate in RAMS reviews and emergency response planning.

Skills

• Proficient in high voltage switching and operational control of substations.
• Knowledgeable in protection systems, SCADA, and network operations.
• Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on teamwork.
• Good IT skills and proficiency in English.

Education

• Vocational training in electrical engineering or a similar technical field.
