Offshore Service Technician (Renewable Energy, Remote)

Job summary

This role involves working as an Offshore Service Technician, focusing on the maintenance and repair of wind turbine generators (WTGs) in a dynamic and growing renewable energy sector. The position requires extensive travel and collaboration with various teams to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in Marine Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience with electrical or mechanical systems, preferably in wind, offshore, or high voltage environments.
• Familiarity with wind turbine technology is advantageous.
• Strong focus on safety and teamwork.
• Valid driving license.
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
• Competent with PC and modern technologies, including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.
• Conduct personal protective equipment (PPE) checks and maintain logs.
• Communicate daily with Service Managers and Project Managers.
• Identify and coordinate deviations in operations.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
• Log time and material usage in company systems.
• Perform maintenance, repairs, and replacements of turbine components.
