About the role

Job summary

The Offshore Quality Surveyor will be part of the Quality / HSEQ team, focusing on quality surveillance of wind turbine generator (WTG) installation activities in offshore environments. This role involves conducting final quality walkdowns, ensuring compliance with contractual and quality standards, and managing quality risks and non-conformities. The position operates on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off offshore rotation.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Quality Surveillance, QA/QC, or Quality Inspection.
  • Strong background with wind turbine generators and components, particularly in offshore settings.
  • Familiarity with walkdowns, inspections, punch lists, and non-conformity report (NCR) management.
  • Ability to work offshore and collaborate within a multidisciplinary project team.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct final quality walkdowns offshore.
  • Verify that offshore work meets contractual and quality requirements.
  • Identify, document, and address quality deviations and non-conformities.
  • Review and validate WTG Daily Progress Reports.
  • Monitor and report on health, safety, and environmental (HSE) observations.
  • Provide regular updates on quality status and alert to potential quality risks.

Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and reporting abilities.

Education

  • Relevant qualifications in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field.

Tools

  • Familiarity with quality management systems and reporting tools.
