Network Engineer

Job summary

In this role, you will be responsible for operating and enhancing the private network infrastructure that supports trading, operational, and data center environments. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the performance, security, resilience, and compliance of business-critical systems.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco ACI and Cisco Firepower, including routing, switching, and firewall operations.
• Understanding of access networks and Cisco ISE, focusing on identity-based access and secure connectivity.
• Familiarity with enterprise and data center networking, including segmentation across IT and OT environments.
• Experience in designing, building, and operating secure branch office networks globally.
• Knowledge of on-premises data centers and resilient infrastructure services.
• Comfortable working with compute, storage, virtualization, and Linux-based environments.
• Structured approach to troubleshooting with attention to detail.
• Exposure to automation, scripting, SCADA, OT, or regulated industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate, optimize, and maintain private network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and connectivity services.
• Support Cisco ACI and data center networking platforms to ensure resilient and scalable services.
• Configure and maintain Cisco Firepower platforms for secure segmentation and policy controls.
• Troubleshoot incidents in business-critical environments and participate in 24/7 on-call rotations.
• Contribute to infrastructure projects, including SCADA-related upgrades, network design improvements, and private cloud evolution.
