Medical Affairs and Market Access Head (Pharmaceutical, Denmark)

Job summary

This role involves leading the Medical Affairs and Market Access team in the Nordic region, focusing on enhancing accessibility for pharmaceutical products across various therapeutic areas. The position requires a hands-on approach while also providing strategic leadership within the Nordics Leadership Team.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Medical Affairs and Market Access within the pharmaceutical sector.
• Proven leadership experience with strong people management skills.
• Medical expertise and knowledge of Nordic regulations and compliance.
• Background as a Medical Doctor or PhD.
• Familiarity with therapeutic areas such as Reproductive Medicine, Gastroenterology, or Urology is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement integrated Medical Affairs and Market Access strategies.
• Drive scientific initiatives, including data generation, advisory boards, and KOL engagement.
• Manage HTA dossiers, pricing, reimbursement, and access initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with GCP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and foster development within a high-performing team.
• Collaborate with commercial leaders to align strategies for successful product launches.

Skills

• Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and at least one Nordic language.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate across functions.
• Skills in managing complexity and leading teams through change.

Education

• Medical Doctor or PhD preferred.

• Familiarity with regulatory compliance tools and medical review processes.
