About the role

Job summary

The Medical Advisor for the Cardiovascular sector in the Nordics is responsible for developing and implementing the Medical Affairs Plan under the guidance of the Therapeutic Area Lead. This role primarily focuses on cardiovascular health but may also extend to women's health. The advisor engages with Scientific Leaders and Key Decision Makers to drive scientific initiatives and provide necessary support to the field.

Qualifications

  • Medical degree, PhD in health sciences, Pharm D, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in Medical Affairs.
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry guidelines, regulatory frameworks, and clinical research guidelines.
  • Fluent in at least one Nordic language and English.
  • Preferred experience in women's health.
  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate scientific therapy needs effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Build trust with the scientific community through education and collaborations.
  • Develop and execute medical educational programs and symposia.
  • Translate Global Medical Strategies into actionable local tactics to improve patient outcomes.
  • Provide scientific and medical support to the Commercial team.
  • Engage in peer-to-peer exchanges of medical information within legal and regulatory limits.
  • Analyze and communicate actionable insights at the country level.
  • Support the Sales team with therapy training content.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and provide strategic insights.
  • Proficiency in scientific communication and education.

Education

  • Medical degree, PhD in health sciences, Pharm D, or equivalent.

Tools
