Medical Advisor (Cardiovascular, Nordics)

Job summary

The Medical Advisor for the Cardiovascular field in the Nordics is responsible for developing and executing the Medical Affairs Plan under the guidance of the Therapeutic Area Lead. This role involves engaging with Scientific Leaders and Key Decision Makers, driving scientific initiatives, and providing support to the field as necessary.

Qualifications

• Medical degree, PhD in health sciences, Pharm D, or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of experience in Medical Affairs.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry guidelines, regulatory frameworks, and clinical research guidelines.
• Fluent in at least one Nordic language and English.
• Preferred experience in women's health.
• Strong leadership skills and strategic thinking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Communicate scientific therapy needs effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
• Build trust with the scientific community through education, research collaborations, and interactions with health organizations.
• Develop and execute medical educational programs and symposia.
• Translate Global Medical Strategies into actionable local tactics to improve patient outcomes.
• Provide scientific and medical support to the Commercial team and engage in peer-to-peer exchanges of medical information.
• Analyze and communicate actionable insights at the country level.
• Collaborate on regulatory queries and adapt tactical plans as needed.

Skills

• Strong scientific knowledge and experience in the cardiovascular and women's health areas.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think strategically regarding asset value propositions and clinical evidence.

Education

• Medical degree, PhD in health sciences, Pharm D, or equivalent required.

Tools

• Familiarity with digital initiatives and scientific communication platforms.
