Maritime Instructor (Marine Engineering, Svendborg)

Job summary

This position involves delivering and developing training programs within the maritime and energy sectors, focusing on enhancing crew competence and operational safety.

Qualifications

• Strong technical expertise with maritime experience, including time served in a senior engine officer role (2E or CE).
• Educational qualifications as a Marine Engineer or Dual Officer.
• Experience in the oil & gas, offshore, or green fuels industries is advantageous.
• Background in training delivery or skill development is preferred.
• Relevant experience in onshore functions such as Vessel Management, HSE, or Operations support is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-quality training courses in maritime, wind, and energy sectors.
• Participate in the maintenance of advanced simulators and the development of new training scenarios.
• Ensure timely updates and upgrades of assigned courses.
• Create new courses and services tailored to customer needs.
• Stay informed on technological advancements and industry trends in marine engineering, sharing insights with the instructor team and sales.
• Provide expert advice and technical support to the sales organization.
