Job summary

The Manager of Inventory Strategy plays a crucial role in shaping inventory decisions and enhancing performance within a global merchandising and supply chain context. This position is responsible for driving global inventory strategies and ensuring optimal product availability while balancing working capital and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years of experience in Inventory Management, Supply Chain, Demand Planning, or related fields
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to convert data into actionable business decisions
• Experience in forecasting, inventory optimization, and performance tracking
• Proven stakeholder management skills and ability to work collaboratively across functions
• Commercial mindset focused on balancing product availability with working capital
• Experience in global organizations is a plus
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar analytical tools

Responsibilities

• Define and implement global inventory strategies across various product categories and markets
• Translate inventory and performance data into actionable recommendations
• Own and enhance inventory KPIs, ensuring transparency and effective performance tracking
• Lead improvements in forecasting and inventory planning in collaboration with planning teams
• Conduct regular performance reviews to identify risks and opportunities, driving actionable outcomes
• Collaborate closely with Supply Chain and market teams to ensure alignment and efficiency
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across tools, processes, and operational methodologies
