Manager, Global Business Investment & Network Planning (Retail, Copenhagen)

Job summary

This role is crucial for overseeing the investment decisions that drive global growth and network expansion. The Manager will ensure that investment proposals are financially sound and aligned with the company's strategic objectives, while also enhancing team capabilities to deliver actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of experience in business case reviews, investment governance, or global portfolio expansion.
• Strong finance and accounting background with commercial acumen.
• Experience in retail and/or real estate sectors.
• Proven ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders across functions and geographies.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• High attention to detail and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end Global Investment Proposal (IP) approval process.
• Develop and govern tools, templates, and frameworks for business case preparation.
• Review and validate investment proposals for store expansion.
• Prepare decision materials for senior leadership, including the CCO and CEO.
• Ensure alignment of investment decisions with revenue, EBIT, and CAPEX goals.
• Track post-approval performance against business cases to enhance accountability.
• Create feedback loops to improve forecasting accuracy and proposal quality.
• Influence senior stakeholders to maintain strong commercial discipline.
• Coach and develop team members to ensure effective governance and execution.

Education
