Job summary

This role involves leading procurement performance in a global technology organization, focusing on collaboration with stakeholders across Europe to enhance business outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in procurement and management roles.
  • Relevant degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in project procurement, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
  • Track record of developing and implementing procurement and supply chain strategies.
  • Fluency in English and familiarity with SAP solutions such as Ariba, S/4HANA, and MDG.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team to drive procurement and supply chain performance.
  • Coordinate project requirements with procurement activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.
  • Act as the liaison between local business units and divisional leadership, ensuring early procurement involvement in projects.
  • Review category strategies, identify cost-saving opportunities, and drive demand reduction initiatives.
  • Represent Procurement & Supply Chain in project gate reviews, ensuring compliance with policies and sustainability objectives, while providing performance reports and recommendations.

Skills

  • Strong commercial acumen and collaborative leadership style.
  • Ability to operate in a complex international environment and build cross-functional relationships.

Education

  • Degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a similar field.

Tools

  • SAP solutions including Ariba, S/4HANA, and MDG.
