Maintenance Technical Support Engineer

Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or a related field
• Experience or understanding of train technology and maintenance operations in the railway or similar industry
• Knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) and continuous improvement methodologies
• Familiarity with technical documentation management and maintenance planning
• Strong analytical skills for optimizing maintenance processes
• Proactive approach to safety and obsolescence management

Responsibilities

• Participate actively in the Services Engineering network
• Innovate through R&D programs and new technologies in maintenance projects
• Analyze operational data to enhance train performance and optimize maintenance tasks
• Develop work instructions and processes based on maintenance plans and manuals
• Ensure efficient parts codification according to platform rules and quality standards
• Implement product modifications to improve reliability and serviceability
• Provide help desk support to facilitate smooth traffic operations
