Job summary

The Maintenance Control Center Engineer is responsible for ensuring safe and efficient aircraft operations within a 24/7 operational environment. This role involves overseeing the technical status of the aircraft fleet, managing technical troubleshooting, and coordinating recovery actions to minimize operational disruptions while adhering to regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Experience in aircraft maintenance, airline engineering, or technical control in commercial aviation is preferred.
  • EASA Part-66 B1 and/or B2 license is required.
  • Strong understanding of EASA regulations and their application in airline operations.
  • Commitment to onsite shift work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assess aircraft defects and determine dispatch capabilities.
  • Coordinate corrective actions with maintenance organizations and line stations.
  • Manage AOG situations across the operational network.
  • Ensure documentation and compliance with EASA regulations.
  • Collaborate with Flight Operations, Engineering, and external maintenance providers.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes and aircraft health management.

Skills

  • Ability to work in a structured manner in a high-pressure environment.
  • Proven decision-making skills and accountability for technical outcomes.
  • Experience with maintenance control systems and operational IT platforms.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Education

  • Relevant technical qualifications in aviation maintenance or engineering.

Tools

  • Familiarity with maintenance control systems and operational IT platforms is essential.
