Machine Learning Engineer (Remote, Denmark)

Job summary

This role involves designing and deploying scalable machine learning systems in a fully remote, global setting, focusing on high-performance AI/ML pipelines and services for production applications across various domains.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Python development.
• At least 4 years of experience in machine learning, deep learning, or large language model systems.
• Strong background in cloud platforms, preferably AWS, for building and deploying AI/ML pipelines.
• Proven experience in training, fine-tuning, testing, and deploying machine learning models in production.
• Solid understanding of computer vision techniques such as object detection and image classification.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in remote teams.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable AI/ML services and pipelines in cloud environments.
• Build and optimize machine learning workflows, including data preparation and deployment.
• Contribute to research and development of emerging AI frameworks and technologies.
• Deploy and support production-grade machine learning systems with a focus on reliability and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments with an ownership mindset.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality AI solutions.
• Continuously improve system architecture and model performance through experimentation.

Skills

• Proficiency in Python and experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Familiarity with tools like AWS SageMaker or NVIDIA AI platforms is a plus.
• Exposure to media, audio, video, or image processing workflows is advantageous.

Education

• Relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
