Legal Counsel (Digital Regulation, Remote/Smørum)

Job summary

This role involves providing legal counsel focused on digital regulation and compliance for product development within a global organization. The position emphasizes collaboration with various stakeholders and aims to enhance the legal framework surrounding technology and privacy.

Qualifications

• Law degree (cand.jur., cand.merc.jur. or equivalent).
• Several years of experience as in-house legal counsel, in a law firm, or consulting.
• Experience advising on GDPR, Data Act, and AI Act is preferred.
• Strong project management skills and a structured approach to translating legal requirements into technical specifications.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the Privacy by Design framework for product development.
• Provide legal advice on tech regulations and app functionalities.
• Monitor legal developments in digital regulations and new technologies.
• Train colleagues in R&D, IT, and Data Privacy on digital regulations.

Skills

• Strong organizational skills for managing process flows.
• Ability to balance business needs with legal standards.

Education

• Degree in law required.

• Familiarity with legal compliance tools and frameworks related to digital regulation.
