Lead Software Engineer

Job summary

The role involves contributing to the Transactions & Private Debt product area, focusing on backend development and enhancing business-critical functionality for clients. The position requires collaboration with a skilled engineering team to improve product reliability and maintainability while utilizing both APL and C#/.NET.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
• Strong experience with C#/.NET and backend development
• Understanding of object-oriented design, clean code, APIs, and integration patterns
• Familiarity with automated testing, code reviews, CI/CD, and Git-based workflows
• Ability to work with complex business logic and collaborate effectively with diverse teams
• Willingness to learn APL; prior experience is not necessary
• Experience with Azure or cloud-based development is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and maintain backend functionality using APL and C#/.NET
• Contribute to component design, ensuring code quality and long-term maintainability
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to understand requirements and deliver relevant functionality
• Enhance reliability and delivery through code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD practices
• Investigate technical issues and performance bottlenecks, proposing sustainable solutions
• Share knowledge and engage in technical discussions within the team
