Job summary

This position involves leading noise-related engineering activities within product development and technology projects, focusing on noise prediction, verification, and data analysis in a collaborative R&D environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, preferably with a specialization in noise and vibration.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in noise and vibration, ideally in the wind energy or automotive sectors.
  • Proficient in programming and data analysis using Python and Matlab.
  • Strong motivation for a holistic understanding of product performance.

Responsibilities

  • Assume technical responsibility for noise-related activities in assigned development projects.
  • Analyze and document turbine noise performance based on simulations and measurement data.
  • Enhance and apply noise and vibration workflows, tools, and methods in turbine development.
  • Contribute to ongoing technology and method development in the noise domain.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure robust noise performance and informed technical decisions.

  • Strong attention to detail while understanding overall product implications.
  • Proactive and self-driven with a sense of technical responsibility.
  • Effective collaboration skills across disciplines in a global, cross-functional organization.

  • Proficient communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
