Jewelry Designer (Copenhagen)

Job summary

A Jewelry Designer is sought to join an international team focused on creating innovative and culturally relevant jewelry. This role involves collaboration with the Senior Design Director and other designers, managing projects from concept to final design.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in fine or fashion jewelry design.
• Strong creative background with a portfolio showcasing design skills and thought processes.
• Proficiency in hand drawing and design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and/or 3D software.
• Knowledge of jewelry manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Design Director on collection development.
• Manage individual design projects, ensuring timely completion.
• Develop creative and technical sketches, and propose innovative ideas.
• Support the Product Development team in preparing samples for reviews.
• Research and propose new materials and techniques.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in an international team.
• Strong drawing skills and a creative mindset.
• Ability to align designs with brand identity while exploring new possibilities.

Education

• Relevant degree in design or a related field is preferred.

Tools

• Proficiency in design software including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and 3D modeling tools.
