About the role

Job summary

The role involves providing IT support to colleagues across various locations, ensuring timely resolution of IT incidents and service requests. The position requires on-call and weekend shifts as part of a rotating schedule to maintain 24/7 support.

Qualifications

  • Broad understanding of IT, including hardware, software, and networking.
  • Experience with IT Asset Life Cycle Management (CMDB) is preferred.
  • ITIL Foundation certification is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or at least 1 year of experience in IT support.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong written communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for IT incidents and service requests.
  • Coordinate and drive major incidents to resolution.
  • Assist in infrastructure and operations tasks.
  • Manage equipment purchases and asset management.
  • Conduct IAM activities with diligence.
  • Create and share knowledge articles to improve support processes.

Skills

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, Active Directory, DNS, and networking.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT support.

Tools

  • Familiarity with ITSM tools and ITIL principles.
