IT Student Assistant

Job summary

The IT Student Assistant will support a team of Software Engineers in developing and maintaining financial software. This role involves collaborating with the Senior System Administrator on IT operations and infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently started a Master's program in a relevant technical or mathematical field.
• Basic understanding of computer systems and hardware.
• Experience with PowerShell and/or Bash scripting.
• Some experience with networking and troubleshooting.
• Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user support for software and hardware.
• Configure and maintain workstations and servers.
• Assist in maintaining and automating infrastructure using tools like Active Directory, Ansible, and Docker.

Skills

• Familiarity with Windows and Linux environments.
• Knowledge of Docker and Ansible is a plus.

Education

• Enrollment in a Master's program in a relevant field is required.
