IT Governance Analyst (Renewable Energy, Remote)

Job summary

This role focuses on enhancing IT governance, cyber security, and risk management within the offshore wind sector, contributing to a sustainable energy future. The IT Governance Analyst will support the development and maintenance of IT risk and control processes, ensuring compliance and security information is effectively managed.

Qualifications

• Relevant educational background in IT, Information Security, Governance, Risk Management, or similar fields.
• 1–3 years of experience in cyber security, IT risk, compliance, or governance.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and regulations such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS18 Controls, NIS2, GDPR, or similar.
• Proficient in Microsoft tools including M365, SharePoint, Power BI, Purview, and Azure.
• Strong interest in process improvement, data structuring, and automation.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Support and enhance IT governance and cyber security processes in line with NIS2 requirements.
• Maintain and structure the IT Risk & Control Matrix (RCM) and IT risk register.
• Assist in IT risk assessments and Business Impact Analysis (BIA) activities.
• Ensure documentation of risks and controls is clear and audit-ready.
• Collaborate with IT suppliers on security matters and client assessments.
• Contribute to reporting on IT risk, governance, and cyber security posture.
• Identify opportunities for simplifying, standardizing, and automating governance processes.
• Support continuous improvement of IT risk and compliance frameworks.
