IT Governance Analyst (Offshore Wind Industry)

Job summary

The role involves supporting and enhancing IT governance, cyber security, and risk management frameworks within the offshore wind sector. The IT Governance Analyst will work on structuring IT risk and control processes, aiding in audits, and improving compliance and security information management.

Qualifications

• Relevant educational background in IT, Information Security, Governance, Risk Management, or similar fields.
• 1–3 years of experience in cyber security, IT risk, compliance, or governance areas.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and regulations such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS18 Controls, NIS2, GDPR, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Support and mature IT governance and cyber security processes aligned with NIS2 requirements.
• Maintain and structure the IT Risk & Control Matrix (RCM) and IT risk register.
• Assist in IT risk assessments and Business Impact Analysis (BIA) activities.
• Ensure risks, controls, and documentation are clear and audit-ready.
• Collaborate with IT suppliers on security-related matters and client security assessments.
• Contribute to reporting on IT risk, governance, and cyber security posture.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate governance and compliance processes.
• Support continuous improvement of IT risk and compliance frameworks.

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft tools such as M365, SharePoint, Power BI, Purview, and Azure environments.
• Strong interest in process improvement, data structuring, and automation.
• Clear and professional communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Education

• Relevant degree in IT, Information Security, Governance, Risk Management, or related fields.
