Are you motivated by working in a growing company which develops cutting edge products in the laser industry? NKT Photonics A/S is seeking a talented and motivated Electronics Engineer to join our innovative team. This role involves designing, developing, and testing advanced electronic systems for our cutting-edge photonics products.
THE ROLE
You will be working closely with our senior test engineer and the rest of our Electronics R&D group to develop test platforms and methods for our ever-increasing range of products. As most tests are done at our EMS you will also have communication with our suppliers and support documentation for them.
We have a strong ambition of having a streamlined electronics test process, so your inspiration and interaction with Electrical engineers will be daily leveraging complex functionality of our sophisticated laser systems for Quantum computing, medical and industrial applications.
You will also support our Manufacturing Engineering and be part of our Repair team and included in RMA contact / diagnosis / root cause / documentation.
You will be working with a range of custom-made technologies. You will closely collaborate with experts to meet the demanding requirements. The products we develop are typically low volume but high margin, reflecting the complexity and effort put into each system.
Be responsible for electronic test development for laser products.
Work closely with experts from other areas like optics and mechanics on system design.
Take ownership of test work packages within product development projects; work with project managers to ensure delivery.
Design and implement new and innovative test concepts and take ownership of system designs.
Support manufacturing of existing laser products, custom orders, product improvement activities.
