Internal Communications Lead

Job summary

The role involves leading the development and management of internal communication channels and applications, ensuring they are user-centric and aligned with business goals. The candidate will oversee the corporate intranet and digital communication platforms, providing advisory services to departments and supporting townhall activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in communication, Digital Media, or a related field.
• 6 to 8+ years of experience in digital communications management, preferably in Life Sciences, Pharma, or Biotech.
• Proven experience managing intranets and digital communication tools.
• Experience acting as a Communications Partner for departments, including creating and executing communication plans.
• Strong understanding of IT collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Manage internal communication channels, including the intranet and digital content tools.
• Develop a long-term strategy for internal communication platforms.
• Collaborate with IT to evaluate and maintain communication applications.
• Establish a network of stakeholders for intranet and application alignment.
• Partner with the Social Media Manager for messaging alignment.
• Monitor platform performance and user feedback for improvements.
• Provide training and guidance to departments on communication tools.
• Support content production, including writing internal articles and video editing.
