About the role

Job summary

This internship offers an opportunity to gain experience in global development and humanitarian assistance, focusing on human rights and equality. The role is based in Copenhagen and involves supporting research, analysis, and advocacy efforts within a prominent NGO.

Qualifications

  • Interest in or knowledge of humanitarian interventions and development work.
  • Currently enrolled in a relevant university program (e.g., political science, international relations, development studies, social science, theology, human rights, gender studies).
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to programmatic, advocacy, and research work related to human rights and equality.
  • Assist with research for internal studies and processes, including conducting interviews with country offices.
  • Support coordination in networks and working groups focused on human rights, religion & development, and gender justice.
  • Help with day-to-day program and project management tasks, including meeting and event preparation.
  • Perform ad-hoc assignments and provide administrative support.

Skills

  • Strong research and information compilation skills.
  • Proactive with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other applications at an intermediate level.

Education

  • Enrollment in a relevant university program is required.

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
