Job summary

This role involves collaborating with infrastructure architects to design, implement, and ensure the reliability of infrastructure components. The position focuses on researching and applying new technologies to improve processes, security, and system performance while maintaining necessary documentation. The individual will serve as the technical lead and primary resource for technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Significant experience with Oracle stack (Database, Weblogic, Oracle Service Bus)
• Strong background in Linux administration
• Experience managing multi-server environments
• Knowledge of network topology design, security, performance, and fault-tolerant architecture
• Familiarity with application virtualization and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience in deploying Java applications
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Understanding of network and server virtualization
• Background in application development or engineering
• Graduate degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related fields

Responsibilities

• Drive automation of environment management activities towards full automation
• Design and implement fault-tolerant solutions
• Create highly scalable, secure, and manageable solutions
• Research and propose innovative methods for system administration tasks

Skills

• Experience with Red Hat and Openshift is preferred
• Hands-on J2EE operations experience is a plus
• Familiarity with Big Data infrastructure (Hadoop, Kafka, etc.)
• Proficiency in scripting with various tools (shell, bash, perl, python)
• Work experience as a network engineer is advantageous
• Practical knowledge of Functional and Non-Functional Testing
• Experience with logging and monitoring tools like Splunk

Education

• Graduate degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related fields
