Job summary

This role focuses on collaborating with infrastructure architects to design, implement, and maintain robust infrastructure components. The position involves researching and applying new technologies to improve processes, security, and system performance, while also serving as the technical lead for the team.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Oracle technologies (Database, Weblogic, Oracle Service Bus)
• Proficient in Linux system administration
• Experience managing multi-server environments
• Knowledge of network design, security, performance, and fault tolerance
• Familiarity with application virtualization and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience in deploying Java applications
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
• Understanding of network and server virtualization
• Background in application development or engineering
• Graduate degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related fields

Responsibilities

• Drive automation in environment management towards full automation
• Design and implement fault-tolerant solutions
• Create scalable, secure, and manageable infrastructure solutions
• Research and propose innovative methods for system administration tasks

Skills

• Experience with Red Hat and OpenShift is a plus
• Hands-on experience with J2EE operations
• Familiarity with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Kafka)
• Proficient in scripting languages (shell, bash, perl, python)
• Previous work experience as a network engineer
• Knowledge of Functional and Non-Functional Testing
• Experience with logging and monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk)

Education

• Graduate degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related fields
