Job summary

This role focuses on advancing enzyme technology to enhance sustainability in the vegetable oil and biodiesel sectors across Europe. The position involves direct customer engagement and collaboration with a technical service team to implement innovative solutions that improve efficiency and reduce environmental impact.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in vegetable oil technology, process engineering, biotechnology, or a related field.
  • Strong scientific and technical knowledge relevant to oils and fats processing.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective customer and stakeholder engagement.
  • Fluency in English, with additional languages like German or Spanish considered a plus.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within Europe.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers to identify their technical challenges and processes.
  • Implement enzyme solutions aimed at reducing costs and energy consumption.
  • Provide high-quality technical service in partnership with sales and marketing teams.
  • Translate technical data into customer-friendly value propositions.
  • Share industry insights and contribute to team improvements.
  • Conduct technical training for customers and internal teams.

Skills

  • Ability to convey complex technical information in an accessible manner.
  • Strong desire for customer interaction and on-site visits.
  • Experience in operating or managing biodiesel or vegetable oil plants is advantageous.
  • Hands-on experience with enzyme applications in oils and fats processing is a plus.

Education

  • A university degree (M.Sc.) in a relevant field is required.

Tools

  • Familiarity with enzyme technology and its applications in industrial processes.
