As a Host/Hostess, you will be the initial point of contact for guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere through professionalism and attention to detail. Your role involves managing reservations, handling guest inquiries, and ensuring a smooth front-of-house experience.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Host/Hostess in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage guest expectations regarding wait times and table availability.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the waitlist and prioritize seating based on reservations and walk-ins.
  • Assist guests with special requests, such as seating preferences or accommodations for special occasions.
  • Guide guests to their tables, provide menus, and maintain thorough knowledge of menu items.
  • Keep the lobby and waiting area clean and organized.
  • Ensure tables are set and ready for guests.
  • Collaborate effectively with servers and management in both Food & Beverage and Front Office departments.
  • Adhere to uniform and grooming standards.
  • Be flexible to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
