Head of Engineering (Web3/Crypto, Remote)

Job summary

This role is a leadership position focused on engineering innovative products in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space. The Head of Engineering will oversee technical teams throughout the software development lifecycle, from architecture to deployment and optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of engineering or technical management experience, with a proven track record of leading development teams.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on blockchain development experience using Solidity or similar technologies.
• Strong understanding of blockchain applications, protocols, and development libraries such as Web3.js.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks, including JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and Python.
• Experience in data analysis and visualization techniques.
• Excellent communication skills for conveying technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of blockchain capabilities while managing and mentoring engineering teams.
• Own the technical direction and contribute to the full software development lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain scalable applications and databases.
• Design and build blockchain applications using relevant technologies.
• Ensure security in systems for recording blockchain data and protecting transactions.
• Analyze complex datasets to support business decisions and product development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical execution with business goals.
• Document technical solutions and maintain system documentation.
