Job summary

The role involves leading a newly established AI department focused on developing customer-facing AI products and workflows. The position requires building a strong product development setup around AI, ensuring engineering quality, and delivering real customer value.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Engineering Leader, preferably in AI or similar roles.
• Strong technical understanding of AI architecture, including context windows, RAG, vector stores, and agentic frameworks.
• Ability to create clarity and structure for teams in a dynamic environment.
• Experience in leading change and rallying teams around new visions.
• Pragmatic approach to AI, focusing on solving customer problems and delivering value.

Responsibilities

• Define the technical direction for AI products and agents in collaboration with the Head of Engineering.
• Build and shape the AI Product Development Team, fostering collaboration among diverse disciplines.
• Establish high standards for execution, including prompt versioning, automated evaluations, and model performance observability.

Skills

• Technical depth in AI and software engineering.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Education

• Relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
