Golang Engineer (Remote)

Job summary

This role involves building and scaling high-performance systems using Go within a fully remote engineering organization. You will contribute to core infrastructure and open-source products that support enterprise, cloud, AI, and IoT ecosystems globally.

Qualifications

• Strong academic background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience designing and building production-grade software in Golang, ideally in Linux-based environments.
• Deep familiarity with Linux systems (preferably Ubuntu or Debian) and strong command of system-level concepts.
• Experience with distributed systems, APIs, and scalable backend architectures.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a track record of delivering high-quality work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, curiosity, and a proactive mindset.
• Willingness to travel internationally twice a year for team gatherings.
• Nice to have: experience with Ubuntu ecosystem tools and performance tuning expertise.
