Job summary

This role involves coordinating supply chain operations in the Middle East and North Africa region, focusing on medical procurement and humanitarian aid. The position requires adaptability to challenging environments and the ability to respond swiftly to crises.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain activities, particularly in medical procurement and warehousing.
  • Experience in humanitarian aid, preferably with knowledge of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.
  • Familiarity with the MENA region and local markets is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Enhance supply chain operations across MENA countries, focusing on medical procurement.
  • Collaborate with a team operating across Africa, the Middle East, and Eurasia.
  • Travel on short notice for up to 2 months to support supply chain activities.
  • Adapt to various technical tasks in challenging contexts.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications.

Education

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in supply chain management or related fields.

Tools

  • Familiarity with supply chain management software and MS Office applications is essential.
