Global Director of Logistics & Fulfillment (E-commerce, Remote)

Job summary

This role involves leading the logistics and fulfillment operations for a global e-commerce initiative focused on reducing food waste. The position requires strategic oversight and operational execution across multiple countries, ensuring efficient supply chain management and partner collaboration.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in senior logistics or fulfillment leadership roles, preferably within e-commerce, food delivery, or retail sectors.
• Proven ability to manage multi-country logistics operations and partnerships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs).
• Strong background in warehouse process design and optimization, including inventory management and capacity planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive logistics and fulfillment strategy to enhance cost efficiency and service quality.
• Manage the entire logistics value chain from inbound logistics to last-mile delivery, ensuring operational excellence.
• Evaluate and onboard 3PLs and fulfillment partners, establishing operational standards and governance.
• Drive monthly sales and operations planning (S&OP) processes, ensuring alignment between demand forecasts and supply capabilities.
• Lead a global logistics team, fostering collaboration across various departments to achieve business objectives.
