Global Director of Logistics & Fulfillment

Job summary

The role involves leading the logistics and fulfillment operations for a global organization focused on reducing food waste. The Global Director will define and implement the logistics strategy, manage partnerships, and ensure operational excellence across multiple countries.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in senior logistics or fulfillment leadership, preferably in e-commerce, food delivery, or retail.
• Proven ability to build and manage logistics operations across multiple countries with various 3PLs and carriers.
• Strong background in warehouse process design and optimization.
• Familiarity with cross-border and pan-European parcel networks is advantageous.
• Experience in a global matrix organization is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and planning discipline.
• Excellent stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and scale a top-tier fulfillment network, optimizing the entire logistics value chain from inbound to last-mile delivery.
• Manage the 3PL and carrier ecosystem, including selection, onboarding, and performance evaluation.
• Drive performance through sales and operations planning (S&OP) and inventory management.
• Lead a global logistics team, collaborating with various departments to achieve business objectives.

Education
