Game Programmer

Job summary

An experienced Game Programmer is sought to play a pivotal role in the early development of a new game project based on an existing intellectual property. The position involves close collaboration with the Game Director to establish the project, define technical direction, and develop scalable gameplay systems from the ground up.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Unity and C#.
• Proven track record of shipping multiple game titles for PC, with additional experience on consoles and mobile being a plus.
• Familiarity with working on existing games/IPs and navigating stakeholder relationships.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and software architecture.
• Experience in developing games from inception through production and release.
• Comfortable taking on the primary programming role in a project.
• Capable of creating engaging user experiences for PC.
• Experience in developing tools for game designers and understanding gameplay systems, tools development, and production pipelines.
