Frontend Software Engineer

Job summary

The role involves developing and maintaining high-quality web applications to combat food waste. You will work closely with a team to refine, design, implement, and deliver product features while ensuring quality and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in front-end development.
• Proven success in creating responsive/mobile user interfaces with strong visual communication.
• Proficient in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and CSS.
• Fluent in TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of core React principles (state, props, context, hooks).
• Experience with state management solutions like Redux.
• Familiarity with data fetching and caching libraries (e.g., RTK Query).
• Knowledge of code versioning tools (e.g., Git).
• Willingness to participate actively in a cross-functional product team.
• Commitment to writing quality code.
• Interest in AI-assisted development and new tools.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the partner-facing web application ‘MyStore’ by implementing high-quality visual elements.
• Enhance internal web tools for colleagues in Sales and Customer Service.
• Participate in agile development processes with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Maintain and improve the tech stack, code style, and automated test setup.
• Collaborate with frontend developers on other product teams.
• Take on additional tasks to grow and expand skills.

Skills

Education
