Frontend-Focused AI Engineer

Job summary

You will be part of an expanding AI team focused on transforming data and AI into tangible business outcomes. Your main responsibility will be to develop AI-driven internal applications within a dynamic scaleup environment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in a technical role, particularly in frontend development for data and AI products.
• Proficiency in React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
• Strong foundation in Python and experience with SQL and structured data.
• Familiarity with data science or machine learning concepts such as classification, regression, and model evaluation.
• Ability to simplify complex information and write reusable, understandable code.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop user-facing internal applications using React and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Contribute to the creation of reusable frontend components, UX patterns, and a design system for internal AI applications.
• Collaborate with backend technologies, including Python, SQL, and APIs, to integrate frontend with data and AI logic.
• Engage with users and stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure tools meet their needs.
• Work closely with data engineers and data scientists to ensure tools are built on reliable data and model logic.
• Potentially assist with data science tasks such as analysis and model development as the role evolves.

Skills

• Experience with FastAPI or similar Python backend frameworks is a plus.
• Familiarity with Databricks or similar data platforms is advantageous.
• Knowledge of LLMs, AI assistants, recommendation systems, or other AI-powered products is beneficial.

Education

• Relevant technical education or equivalent experience in a related field.
