Frontend Developer (E-commerce, On-site)

Job summary

The role involves enhancing the user experience and visual design of e-commerce platforms by developing scalable frontend solutions. You will work closely with the E-commerce Manager and backend team to address user friction points and improve the buying journey across multiple markets.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years of experience as a Frontend Developer, Frontend Engineer, or UX-focused Web Developer.
• Solid experience with e-commerce platforms, particularly in complex buying journeys and customer accounts.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks like React or Vue.
• Ability to translate commercial or usability challenges into effective frontend solutions.
• Strong understanding of web performance, responsive design, and browser behavior.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a structured system of reusable components for the webshop.
• Transform user friction points into intuitive user flows.
• Create wireframes or interactive mockups to visualize ideas and gain alignment.
• Analyze user behavior through data and run A/B tests to assess changes.
• Collaborate with backend developers to enhance API integration and page performance.

Skills

• Strong aesthetic sensibility for layout, typography, and spacing.
• Excellent communication skills, particularly in visualizing complex flows.
