Seeking a Freelance Storyboard and Animatic Artist to create engaging visual content for a young audience. The role involves transforming scripts into dynamic storyboards and animatics, focusing on clarity and emotional expression suitable for children.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Toon Boom Storyboard Pro.
• Strong understanding of composition, framing, and visual storytelling.
• Previous experience in creating storyboards or animatics with a focus on timing and composition.
• A portfolio that showcases relevant work, particularly in cartoon-style cutout animation.
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
• Self-motivated and organized to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in children’s content creation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop storyboards and animatics based on provided scripts.
• Utilize dynamic camera movements to enhance storytelling.
• Convey clear character emotions that appeal to a preschool audience.
• Deliver 2-4 scenes per week, with flexibility for additional work.
