Job summary

This role involves working on project-based AI opportunities focused on testing and improving AI systems. Contributors will engage in designing computational engineering problems and creating Python-based solutions for engineering challenges.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Python for numerical validation; familiarity with MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Numpy, Pandas, SciPy, or other programming languages is acceptable.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in applied, research, or teaching roles.
  • Strong written English skills (C1+ level).
  • Professional certifications and experience in international projects are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Project time expectations

Tasks are estimated to require approximately 10–20 hours per week during active project phases, subject to project requirements.

Compensation

Contributors can earn up to $50 per hour, depending on their expertise and contribution level. Compensation may vary across different projects based on scope and complexity.

  • Design computational engineering problems that reflect real-world workflows.
  • Develop problems that require Python programming for engineering calculations and simulations.
  • Ensure problems are computationally intensive and utilize numerical methods.
  • Create problems based on real research challenges or practical engineering applications.
  • Verify solutions using Python and standard engineering libraries.
  • Document problem statements and provide verified solutions clearly.
