Low-Code Automation Engineer (Freelance, Remote)

Job summary

This freelance position involves designing and optimizing automation workflows within a hybrid AI and human environment, focusing on low-code platforms. The role requires collaboration with agents to enhance workflow execution and ensure scalability across various systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in low-code/no-code automation, workflow development, or software development.
• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields is advantageous.
• Proficiency in working with APIs, webhooks, and data exchange formats such as JSON.

Responsibilities

• Design and assess complex automation workflows across various business tools and platforms.
• Build and refine workflows using low-code platforms (Make.com, n8n), APIs, and event-based logic.
• Implement custom JavaScript for advanced logic and data transformations within automation tools.
• Connect and synchronize data across platforms like Airtable, Google Sheets, and CRMs.
• Ensure reliable workflow execution with error handling, logging, and fallback mechanisms.
• Troubleshoot and enhance automation performance, aiming to reduce failures and improve efficiency.
• Support the automation of communication and operational workflows, including messaging and notifications.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workflow reliability.
• Self-directed with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize workflows independently.
• Experience with real-time and scheduled automation workflows.
• Familiarity with performance optimization techniques and API limitations.

Education

• Relevant degree in a technical field is a plus.

Tools

• Experience with low-code platforms (Make.com, n8n), APIs, and data synchronization tools is essential.
• Familiarity with automation tools and communication systems (email, messaging APIs) is beneficial.
