Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Python for numerical validation; familiarity with MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Numpy, Pandas, SciPy, or similar programming languages is acceptable.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in applied, research, or teaching roles.
  • Strong written English skills (C1+).
  • Professional certifications and experience in international projects are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Project time expectations

Tasks are estimated to require approximately 10–20 hours per week during active project phases, depending on specific project requirements.

Compensation

Contributors can earn up to $50 per hour, with compensation varying based on project scope, complexity, and required expertise.

  • Design computational engineering problems that simulate real workflows.
  • Create Python-based solutions for engineering calculations and simulations.
  • Ensure problems are computationally intensive, requiring numerical methods or iterative solutions.
  • Develop problems based on real research challenges or practical engineering applications.
  • Verify solutions using Python and standard engineering libraries.
  • Clearly document problem statements and provide verified answers.
