Freelance Civil Engineer & Python Specialist (Remote)

Job summary

This role involves participating in project-based opportunities focused on testing and improving AI systems through engineering challenges. Contributors will design computational problems and utilize Python for simulations and calculations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python for numerical validation; familiarity with MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Numpy, Pandas, SciPy, or similar programming languages is acceptable.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in applied, research, or teaching roles.
• Strong understanding of practical engineering constraints and approximations.
• Excellent written English skills (C1+).

Responsibilities

Project time expectations

Tasks are estimated to require 10–20 hours per week during active phases, based on project needs.

Compensation

Earn up to $50 per hour, depending on experience and contribution level. Compensation varies by project scope and complexity.

• Create original computational engineering problems that reflect real-world workflows.
• Develop problems that require Python programming for engineering calculations.
• Ensure problems are computationally intensive, utilizing numerical methods or iterative solutions.
• Document problem statements and provide verified solutions clearly.
