Financial Software Specialist (Finance, Copenhagen)

Job summary

The role involves serving as a Financial Software Specialist within the Portfolio Performance & Fair Value team, focusing on investment and fund valuations, risk mitigation, and financial performance reporting. The position requires collaboration with various teams to enhance system solutions and ensure data quality.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree with 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within a financial institution.
• Strong data skills and experience in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support the portfolio management and valuation performance platform (Anaplan).
• Enhance Anaplan models and workflows to automate processes and improve data quality.
• Manage system upgrades, including requirements gathering and User Acceptance Testing.
• Collaborate with financial model owners and teams to translate business needs into system changes.
• Maintain and support valuation and performance models.
• Provide reliable data sets for portfolio monitoring and fund-level analysis.
• Deliver timely reporting outputs to senior management and investors.

Skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
• Organizational skills to manage work effectively and maintain attention to detail.
• Experience with requirements gathering and implementing controls in financial systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Interest in modern IT systems and complex model maintenance.
• Experience with SQL and/or Python for data processing is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Anaplan is a plus but not mandatory.

Education

• Relevant degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
