Financial Analyst (Entry Level, Aviation, Copenhagen)

Job summary

This position is part of a unique international program offering young professionals the chance to gain valuable paid work experience abroad in a financial analyst role within the aviation sector. The contract duration is 24 months, and the role involves working in a global environment with a focus on financial consolidation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Must be a citizen of the European Union or eligible countries, and aged 28 or younger.
• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in Accounting, Consolidation, or Controlling, including internships or apprenticeships.

Responsibilities

• Collect and consolidate financial data from various sources into unified reports.
• Create financial reports for Revenue, Gross Profit, Cost, and Profit during monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Assist senior accountants with closing tasks and intercompany transaction eliminations.
• Monitor finance transformation project deliverables in collaboration with the Finance Project Manager.
• Support technical discussions for new financial tools and prepare strategic presentations for meetings.
• Ensure alignment between financial KPIs and provide documentation for auditors.

Skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, PowerPoint, and Google Slides; experience with ERP systems like SAP is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a structured approach.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with various stakeholders.
• Independent and responsible work ethic with a proactive attitude.
• Negotiation-level proficiency in English.
