Job summary

This fellowship position focuses on enhancing communication and advocacy efforts for a humanitarian organization within the Nordic and Baltic regions. The role involves supporting partnerships, coordinating events, and creating impactful content to increase visibility and engagement with key stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Master's student or graduate in Political Science, International Development, International Business, Communications, or related fields.
  • Excellent written and spoken English (proficiency level C); knowledge of another UN language or a Nordic language is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

  • Strengthen communication and advocacy efforts targeting Nordic audiences.
  • Coordinate newsletters and information-sharing efforts to keep stakeholders updated.
  • Create content for social media and maintain relevant platforms.
  • Plan and coordinate events to enhance engagement with partners.
  • Facilitate meetings and discussions with Nordic and Baltic governments.
  • Identify opportunities for innovative partnerships and support outreach activities.
  • Conduct analyses of the political landscape and government priorities in the region.
  • Assist with broader initiatives and tasks as needed.

Skills

  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to analyze political landscapes and provide recommendations.
  • Experience in managing digital content and social media strategies.
  • Skills in drafting official communications for high-level stakeholders.

Education

  • Relevant master's degree or equivalent experience in related fields.
