Experienced Toxicopathologist (On-site, Denmark)

Job summary

An experienced toxicopathologist is sought to join a team in Denmark, focusing on the pathology evaluation of studies. The role involves collaboration with pathologists and external reviewers, with a primary responsibility for evaluating and interpreting histopathology findings.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of experience in toxicopathology, preferably in a CRO or pharmaceutical setting.
• Familiarity with various species, including minipig, dog, rat, and mouse.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards (GLP).
• Experience with digital pathology tools, particularly Patholytix.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong collaborative skills and a structured approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Act as study pathologist, evaluating histological specimens and reporting findings.
• Prepare high-quality histopathological reports and tables from the LIMS system.
• Support the development of digital pathology capabilities.
• Collaborate with Study Directors and histology technicians.
• Provide guidance on macroscopic findings and tissue collection.
• Contribute to the training of junior pathologists.
• Assist business development with scientific insights for client proposals.
