Job summary

The role involves leading the planning and execution of arena show elements for high-profile esports tournaments within a global ecosystem. This position is ideal for a senior event professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional live experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary operational contact for event delivery, coordinating venue operations with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage deadlines and deliverables related to venue contracts, collaborating closely with production and ticketing leads.
  • Maintain an overview of all venue activities, including load-ins, media days, and tours.
  • Coordinate site visits and ensure all relevant departments and venue contacts are engaged.
  • Oversee non-production elements of the venue layout, including back-of-house areas and catering.
  • Lead on-site communication and daily briefings for event delivery.
  • Hire and manage freelance event staff as needed, collaborating with local production companies.
  • Manage budget lines related to event delivery.
  • Work with various departments to finalize floor plans and seating charts prior to ticket sales.
  • Facilitate partner activations on-site and ensure compliance with venue approvals.
  • Research and manage hotel accommodations for events.
  • Plan and oversee on-site catering and staff operations.
  • Budget for front-of-house audience elements, including VIP operations and partner activations.
  • Collaborate with Ecosystem Directors and Exec Producer to meet departmental KPIs.

  • Right to work in the EU or UK, with a preference for candidates based in Copenhagen or London.
  • Knowledge of the esports industry is a plus but not required.
